Getting Started with Caden

Last updated: 20 Jul 2026

Welcome to Caden. This guide explains how Caden processes your endurance activities, converts raw heart rate and distance streams into meaningful fatigue metrics, and helps you make smarter training choices every single day.

What Caden Does

Caden is an intelligent sports coaching platform built on validated endurance physiology. When you connect your Apple Health account, Caden continuously reads your running, cycling, and weight training sessions. Instead of leaving you with raw numbers, it calculates your rolling fatigue ratios, audits your easy run pace, tracks your custom lifting splits, and streams real-time coaching advice powered by Google Gemini.

Key Platform Capabilities

1. Daily Telemetry Synchronization. Automatically reads GPS routes, heart rate streams, elevation gain, and moving time from Apple Health. 2. Acute to Chronic Workload Ratio Modeling. Tracks your rolling seven-day fatigue against your past twenty-eight day physical base to flag injury risk before soreness starts. 3. Polarized Eighty Twenty Auditing. Analyzes whether your easy runs stay in conversational aerobic zones or bleed into tempo fatigue. 4. Custom Strength Split Mapping. Allows you to define Push, Pull, Legs, and Full Body days so lifting fatigue is factored into your recovery scores. 5. Grounded AI Coaching. Provides conversational answers backed by your sixty-day physiological logs and published sports science studies.

Quick Setup Sequence

Step One. Open Settings and authorize your Apple Health account. Caden will sync your recent activities and build your initial sixty-day workload timeline. Step Two. Configure your Max Heart Rate in your athlete profile. Accurate heart rate zones are essential for polarized compliance auditing. Step Three. Set up your weekly workout schema. Pick your preferred running days and select your custom gym strength categories. Step Four. Enter your Gemini API key in API Settings if you want live streaming in-app chat, or use the CLI Compiler to copy precompiled context payloads into your favorite terminal workflow.
